Welcome to Best In Show Entry Service, your number one choice for efficient, economical and reliable entry submittal.  We have been providing our professional services since 1989 for over 500,000 dogs.  Over the years we have processed millions of entries and strive to provide the best possible service available.  We provide entry submittal for the American Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel Club shows.  We process entries for Conformation (All Breeds and Specialties), Obedience, Rally and Agility events.  We can take entries for ALL Show Superintendents and MOST Show Secretaries if adequate time is given.  We are even able to take most entries up until the last thirty minutes of closing for ALL Show Superintendents and MOST of the Show Secretaries.  Not only do we provide the best service for entry submittal, we also provide reserved overnight parking and reserved grooming reservations, where these arrangements are available.  Please continue reading below for further information and fees. 

Entry Submittal:

We are able to accept entries by telephone, through our website, by e-mail and by fax as long as all the necessary information is provided to process your entry.  It is the client’s responsibility to verify that Best In Show Entry Service has received your online, e-mailed or faxed entry.  Even though it may appear that your entry has been submitted to us, that does not guarantee that we have received anything.  At any time, an internet provider, website host or phone line can be down, damaged or off-line and may result in an un-sent entry. 

Parking & Grooming Information:

We make overnight parking reservations and grooming reservations at any show site that has a reservation form in the Premium List.  In order for us to process your parking reservation we will need your vehicle information.  Most shows request the vehicle type (Class A, Class C, Travel Trailer, Box Van, Box Truck, etc.) length, width, slide outs, license plate number and electrical requirements.  In order for us to do your grooming reservations we will need to know how many spaces you would like, what size space you would like (if applicable) and with or without power (if applicable).    

Closing Day Entries: 

Most shows will close on Wednesdays at 12:00pm in their respectable time zones across the United States.  We take entries on the day of closing for ALL Show Superintendents and the Show Secretaries that are set-up to accept entries on the day of closing.  We are able to enter most shows up until the last thirty minutes of closing.  Please be aware that some Show Secretaries do not accept last minute entries online, by e-mail or by fax.  Entries to these particular Show Secretaries need to be made with our company at least 48 hours prior to closing to allow for delivery by a courier.   

Show Superintendent & Show Secretary Fees: 

This is not a Best In Show Entry Service fee.  This is a fee charged by the Show Superintendent or some Show Secretaries in order for us to submit your entry within the last 48 hours of closing.  This fee ranges from $2.00 – $5.00 per dog, per show or class, depending on their fee schedule.  Any entries received in the last 48 hours prior to closing may be subject to these fees charged by the Show Superintendent or Show Secretary. 

Declined Credit Card Information: 

We will no longer make entries on any account that is in arrears.  We reserve the right to cancel any entries that are not paid in full before the closing date.  We will make every effort to contact a client before canceling an entry for a declined credit card.  If you cannot be contacted your entries may be canceled at our discretion.  If you have any doubts, please check with us to make sure that your credit card, expiration date and CVV Code are current.  If your credit card is missing, stolen or compromised, please contact us as soon as possible to remove that card from your account and provide us with a replacement.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 

Duplicate Entry Information: 

Due to the large volume of entries that we process daily we cannot be responsible for duplicate entries called in by owners and/or their handlers.  Please check with your Handler before making any entries if you are not sure, or ask us to check your records if the dog may have already been entered. 


When you receive your confirmation from Best In Show Entry Service by e-mail, it is your responsibility to verify the information that is sent to you is correct BEFORE entries close.  We verify all telephone entries at the end of the conversation to be sure all entries are correct for that phone call.  If there is a discrepancy with any entry you must contact our office immediately to correct the issue before the show closes, after which time we cannot make any changes per AKC Rules and Regulations. 


Although we make every effort to get in every entry, we cannot place a guarantee on any entry.  There are many factors that are out of our control, such as; limited show entry, courier delays, bad weather, power outages, downed internet/phone lines, etc.  We do treat every entry, whether it is for a small specialty or the largest of all breeds, just as important as the next.  We do everything in our company’s power to get in every single entry that we process as they are all important to us. 

Our Fees are as follows: 

Annual Membership Fee: $15.00 

Best In Show Processing Fee: $5.50 Per dog per show. 

Cancelation/Class Change Fee: $5.50 Per dog per show. 

Parking & Grooming Reservation Fee: 15% of the parking or grooming fee (minimum of $5.50 per reservation). 

Declined/Delinquent Card Fee: $20.00 We reserve the right to cancel any entries that are not paid-in-full at the time entries are made.
